Victoria A. Liotta, DAc, LMT, is a Doctor of Acupuncture, NCCAOM Diplomate and New York State Licensed Massage Therapist. As a student of both Western and Eastern sciences, Victoria holds a BA from Villanova University, where she studied Electrical Engineering and Communications prior to earning her Doctorate in Acupuncture from Pacific College of Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Liotta's goal as a health care practitioner has been to utilize her knowledge to help those with challenging health conditions and her philosophy is simple; "take care of yourself now." Being both an acupuncturist and massage therapist, many of her patients present with pain. She also treats people with autoimmune diseases and those who are in need of care after receiving chemotherapy or radiation. In addition, Victoria has experience in the specialties of psychological/emotional health and frequently treats people with anxiety and depression. She treats children and adults of all ages with the utmost respect, care and commitment to improve their wellbeing.

Originally, complementary medicine was a hobby for Victoria. While living in Atlanta in the 1990's, she stumbled upon an herbal shop and began reading books and pamphlets on nutrition, supplements and herbs. In 2002, Victoria began receiving acupuncture treatments and decided to turn her interest into a career.

Victoria has over 15 years of combined experience in acupuncture and massage. Her acupuncture experience includes work in a wellness center in Stony Brook as well as at a community acupuncture clinic in East Northport. She also has 12 years of experience as a massage therapist, specializing in medical massage, deep tissue and therapeutic stretches. These skills, along with cupping and aromatherapy, are often incorporated into her acupuncture treatments.
